Go daemon powering the AI Helpdesk in the napp-it web GUI. Answers questions via RAG over the built-in documentation, adds live web research, and connects to Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible provider. After confirmation and a manually entered password, the AI Helpdesk can drive an interactive root console for troubleshooting and setup tasks.

Interactive PTY/console backend for System > Console and the AI Helpdesk console mode. Spawned on demand by server.pl, always requires a root/Administrator parent process, and in interactive-shell mode additionally gates access behind a password prompt on the console itself.

Ensures filesystem-consistent ZFS snapshots via QEMU Guest Agent fsfreeze, QMP stop-cont, or FIFREEZE/cgroup-v2 for LXC containers. Since v1.1.0 it also takes hotsnaps of ESXi VMs on NFS datastores (over ssh or soap; the tool runs on any machine that reaches the ESXi host, e.g. the frontend): VM snapshots, ZFS snapshot, VM snapshots removed again. Builds for Linux, macOS, Windows, FreeBSD, illumos and Solaris. Selectable directly from the GUI in snapshot and replication jobs.

Go-based HTTP/HTTPS edge in front of webserver.pl: terminates TLS, serves static content with caching/compression, and reverse-proxies dynamic requests. Can additionally run as a standalone reverse proxy for local AI backends (llama-server, Ollama) with API-key and IP protection.
